Priority is given to students who are enrolled at the American School and to those persons wishing to apply for future study at the school. Private instrument instruction, though listed as an option, is a requisite and indispensable element of full-time musical studies. To be able to meet the requirements of our program, private instrument lessons should be systematically scheduled during the first two years of study. They can be made mandatory as a condition of admission to the school, or mandated by the Faculty Council when instrumental proficiency is judged to be below standard.
