New dates are added regularly until the end of June. Although auditions are scheduled for September, students are encouraged to register in advance to secure a place in our programs. After filling out the form (at the bottom of the page) and choosing a date, students will be invited to select a time slot.<\/p>\n<p>Results will be communicated a few days after the audition. Students who do not meet the required level to enter the first year will be redirected to our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asmm.fr\/en\/preparatory-year-2\/\">preparatory class<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases, a level-up on specific subjects may be suggested if the audition is sufficiently far from the start of the academic year.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e9f3dd9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e9f3dd9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Process<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3833b28 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3833b28\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li><strong>Written test<\/strong> (approximately 15 minutes) on intervals, scales, chords, and general music knowledge. The test is not a barrier to enrollment in the school; it helps place students in courses suited to their level in Harmony\/Music Theory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Instrumental audition<\/strong>: students must present a required piece (see the list for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asmm.fr\/en\/repertoire-audition-instrumentistes\/\">instrumentalists<\/a>, see the list for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asmm.fr\/en\/repertoire-audition-vocalistes\/\">singers<\/a>) as well as a piece of their choice. Candidates can: present with accompanists, play with a &#8220;backing track&#8221;, perform solo, or be accompanied by school professors if they request this in advance and provide a clear, readable score (for the free piece).
