Since its creation in 1982 by American drummer Stephen Carbonara<\/a>, the American School of Modern Music has been an internationally-oriented school with a consistently high percentage of international students.<\/p>\n

In addition to its connections with the United States, the school also benefits from the exceptional influence of its teaching staff<\/a>, composed of internationally renowned artists in the music world.<\/p>\n

This unique environment immerses students in a professional framework, creating opportunities, fostering encounters, and exposing them to the realities of the music industry.<\/p>\n

The American School of Modern Music<\/strong> also organizes numerous events and Masterclasses<\/a>: Chad Smith<\/a> (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Steve Coleman<\/a>, Kurt Rosenwinkel<\/a>, Tim Miller<\/a>, Jonathan Kreisberg, Raul Midon, Jacob Collier, Ari Hoenig<\/a>, Mike Clark (Headhunters), Reggie Washington<\/a>,\u00a0Nelson Veras<\/a>, Charles Turner,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>Alex Terrier<\/a>, <\/a><\/strong>Sylvain Luc, among others.<\/p>\n

The school has also built its reputation on the quality of its graduates over nearly 40 years and their international presence across all music professions: instrumentalists, singers, arrangers, composers, engineers, producers, teachers, and other music professionals (see alumni below). The school thus offers students the opportunity to build an international “network” of musicians and other music industry professionals.<\/p>\n
