The American School will have the pleasure of welcoming saxophonist Denis Guivarc’h from the start of the next school year to take charge of the school’s new blowing section class.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Denis began music in 1983, entered the conservatory of St Brieuc in 1988 then followed the courses of Pierrick Pedron. In 1992 he enrolled in Musicology and taught as an assistant at CIM.<\/p>\n

After a first record with the Multicolore feeling of Eddie Louis in 1991, he met Magic Malik with the Human Spirit and followed him within the Magik malik<\/a> orchestra.<\/p>\n

A 20-year collaboration, 7 albums and numerous international tours was born on the most prestigious stages: Marciac, North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Barbican Center London, Knitting factory ..<\/p>\n

At the same time, he leads his activity as a sideman, in particular with Paco Sery with whom he toured for a year and a half. He also regularly collaborates with musicians such as Steve Coleman, Nelson Veras, Pierre de Bethmann, Bojan Z, Julien Lourau, Baptiste Trotignon, Louis Moutin, Jean Pierre Smadj, Minino Garay, Anga Diaz among others.<\/p>\n
