A <strong>committed artist<\/strong>, he believes that <strong>music reflects the world<\/strong> and promotes <strong>cultural blending<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout <strong>his career<\/strong>, he has worked across various genres:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>French and international pop<\/strong> with <strong>STING, Julien Clerc, Tour\u00e9 Kunda, Laurent Voulzy, Christophe Ma\u00e9, Hubert-F\u00e9lix Thi\u00e9faine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Rock<\/strong> with <strong>Louis Bertignac<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Jazz<\/strong> with <strong>Brazilian pianist Tania Maria<\/strong> and <strong>SAKESHO<\/strong> (<strong>Mario Canonge, Andy Narell, Michel Alibo<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Caribbean music<\/strong> with <strong>Kassav\u2019, Patrick St Eloi, Ralph Thamar, Tania St Val, D\u00e9d\u00e9 St Prix, Mizikopeyi Big Band (Tony Chasseur)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>early 2000s<\/strong>, he joined <strong>the orchestra of Nouvelle Star (M6) for seven years<\/strong>, later becoming part of <strong>The Voice (TF1) in 2012<\/strong>, where he remains active today. With <strong>20 years of TV expertise<\/strong>, he has become <strong>a national reference in music direction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since <strong>2020<\/strong>, he has been the <strong>musical director<\/strong> for <strong>three major television broadcasts on France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Nice Jazz Festival \u2013 \u201cLes Stars chantent le Jazz\u201d (July 2020)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>\u201cTous en Martinique\u201d (November 2021)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>\u201cTous \u00e0 la R\u00e9union\u201d (November 2023)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having contributed to <strong>over 500 musical projects<\/strong> in <strong>recording studios<\/strong>, Jean-Philippe Fanfant released his <strong>new album \u201cSince 1966\u201d in June 2021<\/strong>. This project retraces <strong>his rich journey<\/strong>, bringing together the <strong>influences and people who shaped his career<\/strong>. His musical world <strong>breaks barriers<\/strong>, blending different styles seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2021<\/strong>, he founded <strong>MizikLab<\/strong>, a <strong>platform for young instrumental talents<\/strong>. This <strong>cultural and educational initiative<\/strong> gives <strong>15 to 18-year-old musicians<\/strong> the opportunity to <strong>perform alongside internationally renowned artists<\/strong>. Through <strong>workshops and auditions<\/strong>, he trains and mentors <strong>emerging musicians<\/strong>, bridging the <strong>generational gap<\/strong>. On <strong>December 28, 2021<\/strong>, over <strong>20 artists<\/strong> joined him for <strong>a spectacular live performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside his performing career, <strong>Jean-Philippe Fanfant<\/strong> shares his knowledge by hosting <strong>over 10 masterclasses per year<\/strong> in <strong>music schools worldwide<\/strong>.
