{"id":17613,"date":"2025-09-30T12:23:27","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T10:23:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asmm.fr\/our_team\/camille-bertault\/"},"modified":"2025-09-30T15:14:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T13:14:12","slug":"camille-bertault","status":"publish","type":"team","link":"https:\/\/www.asmm.fr\/en\/our_team\/camille-bertault\/","title":{"rendered":"Camille Bertault"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>After training at the conservatory, Camille Bertault received a <strong>classical piano award<\/strong> and studied <strong>opera singing, theater, and dance<\/strong> at the <strong>Nice Conservatory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the age of <strong>20<\/strong>, she <strong>wrote, directed, and performed<\/strong> in children\u2019s plays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by her <strong>jazz-loving father<\/strong>, she studied <strong>vocal jazz and improvisation<\/strong> at the <strong>Paris Conservatory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2016<\/strong>, she was noticed by the <strong>New York label Sunnyside Records<\/strong>, which released her debut album <strong>En vie<\/strong> and introduced her to the <strong>New York jazz scene<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She then released two albums, <strong>Pas de g\u00e9ant<\/strong> and <strong>Le tigre<\/strong> on <strong>Sony<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Playground<\/strong> on <strong>ACT<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>nominated for the German Jazz Prize<\/strong> \u2014 and <strong>Songs for my Daughter<\/strong> on <strong>Sunnyside Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2023<\/strong>, her sixth album <strong>Bonjour Mon Amour<\/strong> was released on the <strong>artist collective label Vita<\/strong>, and she won the <strong>Victoires du Jazz award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>October 2025<\/strong>, she will release <strong>Voz e voc\u00eas<\/strong> on <strong>Sunnyside<\/strong>, an album paying tribute to her <strong>love for Brazil<\/strong>.m paying tribute to her love for Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Website: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camillebertault.com\/\">www.camillebertault.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Camille Bertault, trained at the conservatory in classical piano and jazz vocals, gained recognition in 2016 with her debut album En vie on Sunnyside Records.
