His live performances<\/b> are unparalleled, having headlined venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center<\/b>, Carnegie Hall<\/b>, The Town Hall in NYC<\/b>, and The Lyon Opera House in France<\/b>. He has toured extensively, sharing stages with artists like Mark O\u2019Connor<\/b>, Sam Bush<\/b>, Stochelo Rosenberg<\/b>, Esperanza Spalding<\/b>, and Al Di Meola<\/b>, and has performed at renowned festivals such as Montreal Jazz Festival<\/b>, Rochester International Jazz Festival<\/b>, and Django Reinhardt Festival in France<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Born in Paris<\/b> and raised in Fontainebleau<\/b>, Wrembel began his musical journey with classical piano at age four<\/b> before discovering guitar<\/b> as a teenager. His influences range from David Gilmour of Pink Floyd<\/b> to the legendary Django Reinhardt<\/b>, whose impressionistic style<\/b> deeply inspired him. Wrembel is the creator of the Django \u00e0 Gogo Music Festival & Guitar Camp<\/b>, a global celebration of Sinti-style guitar, held in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall<\/b> and The Town Hall<\/b>.<\/p>\n
From 2017 to 2021, he released The Django Experiment I-VI<\/b>, reimagining Reinhardt\u2019s music and receiving critical acclaim from Jazz Times<\/b>, Downbeat<\/b>, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine<\/b>. His 2019 project, Django L\u2019Impressionniste<\/b>, spotlighted Reinhardt\u2019s little-known solo preludes, marking a significant contribution to the legacy of the jazz legend.<\/p>\n
In 2023, Wrembel released Django New Orleans<\/b>, blending Reinhardt\u2019s style with the spirit of New Orleans jazz, showcasing his genre-defying musical approach.<\/p>\n
