JazzWorkshipThe ASMM Program
Jazz Workshops – Learn to Play in a Band
The jazz workshops are group classes bringing together various instruments to recreate the energy and richness of a real musical ensemble: guitar, bass, drums, wind instruments, vocals, and more.
Each workshop offers musical progression tailored to the participants’ level, with a solid teaching approach inspired by the methods of the American School. While based on a clear structure, these workshops also value the individual goals and aspirations of each student.
Each group, guided by a teacher trained by the American School, works toward a common goal: to perform two concerts during the year, while also meeting each musician’s personal objectives.
Program highlights:
• Accompaniment techniques
• Improvisation and solo-building skills
• Creation and exploration of a varied repertoire
• Preparation of a set for live performances
